Remote Sensing Pilot Game

When I was growing up, it seemed like every company made free video games for either a bit of fun or to help educate people. It didn’t matter if you made breakfast cereals, snacks, or anything else, video games were a way to have a bit of fun. As a child, finding something with a CD in meant you had a new game to play, and with it being a time where you had to choose between internet or a phone line, your options were limited.

Here at GeoTech, we thought it would be a bit of fun to make a little web game to help educate people about the complicated field of Remote Sensing. RS Pilot is a game where you fly around and use remote sensing to help people make smarter decisions about the land around them. It will help you understand what remote sensing techniques can be used for and what imagery bands are needed for each technique.

The game can be played at https://geotech.itch.io/rs-pilot. See how much money you can earn before running out of fuel, and feel free to share your progress with us.
